Have you ever had a dreamy kind of day with your family? Some days are so filled with rush here and there, stop this or that, and I just can't take any more so you are going to bed. But Monday was different. They boys played together all moring like best friends. Then Chris called and asked us to go out to lunch with him since Steven was out of school. We went to this family owned resturant called Marija in Woodscross. It was pretty slow and the lady fell in love with our boys because they were being so sweet and talkative. We ordered pizza and a calzone. Both were excellent. We ate and laughed and talked. Then we went back to the airport and Chris showed the boys the engine he was working on and 6 of the airplanes. The boys came home saying they want to work with their dad when they grow up and they will do everything he tells them to do. I can see in their eyes that they adore their daddy - and that Chris is having so much fun with his sons.
So often my blog is a place where I rant or rave or whine. But I am thankful too. I have such a great family and just had to brag a bit.

Pirate Party
Steven turned 7 last week! We finally attempted a friend party. Of course it was a pirate theme. I have always dreaded throwing one. But I got excited about planning it and I think it turned out well. My favorite part was the Pirate Popper game where the kids had to sit on balloons to pop them in a relay race. It was so funny to watch. Thank goodness Chris was around to help. He was a real life saver and balloon blower uper. We ran out of activities with half an hour to go. Isaac already has his birthday party planned for May down to the refreshments and activities - so this is far from being our last party. Sorry about the poor picture quality - Isaac smudged my lens!
