Here he is, back from the Dentist. They were given the option of waiting for it to fall out on it's own, or getting it pulled. Steven said, "This tooth's got to go." The Dentist said after that it wouldn't have come out by itself, we would have had to come back. Steven was a brave little trooper, not crying. Look at the root on that tooth!! My baby teeth didn't look like that.

Hi Dixie,

This is Christi, I found your blog from another blog. Hope you don't mind.
Madeline's first tooth was just like Steven's. We took her into the dentist and they could pull it, or wait 'til it came out. There was one growing in back of her loose tooth, but it eventually loosened and she pulled it out and it shifted to the right spot. Now she has another tooth growing in back of the other bottom tooth. I guess it is more common than I thought - Madeline's cousin who is the same age had the same thing happen to her. Anyways, I have a blog as well at http://christiandjared.blogspot.com/

I think it is an upside down vampire tooth.

The Dentist said that about 50% of kid's teeth come in like that. I had never seen it and neither had my mom. It is one scary tooth!
