This may be OK going down, but I don't know about coming back up

Yes, I have been a little off lately. Hiding out at home. Getting out of anywhere as quickly as possible. I haven't been looking so great lately. You may think this is due to my neice coloring my hair black instead of it's usual dark brown. The black may look nice on a normal person. But someone with a pale green complection just cannot pull it off. I am expecting. Expecting what? Why, to feel better at 12 weeks like any normal pregnant woman. But I'm not normal, and I tend to stay sick for a long time. I think the puking has been worse in week 13 than any other week. That was a great Easter dinner mom, but I really regretted the cheese filled celery once I got home!

I can't keep the secret any longer. I may have to give up the normal clothes for the stretchy ones anyday now. Then the cat's out of the bag. If something bad happens after this point you would probably hear about it anyway.

Chris and I may be insane. Both the boys are in school. All of our car seats are expired. I gave away all my 2T-5T clothes last November. We told ourselves that If I made it to 35 and wasn't preggo that we were done. I turn 35 in May - so I guess we weren't done. I've made it past 10 weeks, which has been a challenge for me in the past. But this is it. I never want to have morning sickness again. It is much harder to be queasy when 2 boys have to go to school and do homework and have 3 meals a day and play with friends, compaired with having a toddler who took 2 naps a day and didn't care if he got dressed.

If I have not told you the whole truth, just know I have a troubled past with pregnancies. Take it easy on me. I started feeling better at 20 weeks with Isaac, verses throwing up in the delivery room with Steven. I hope this one goes more like Isaac. I bet my family does too!

I knew a few weeks ago but of course knew better than to say a word. Congratulations will be more in order when the lad is born so I will wish you good luck with your morning/all day sickness.

How am I just finding your blog now? Congrats! We're so happy for your growing family. I'm just a few weeks behind you (due Nov 18th). I've got the yucky feelings too. Paul kept me throwing up from 6 weeks - 6 minutes after delivery. Your post gives me hope that this time it might be better. I can't wait for our little ones to play together at reunions! I never had any cousins my age. :(

Congratulations, Dixie!!! We have a trampoline and a play set if you want to send your boys over to play. I know what it is like to be sick for 9 months of pregnancy.

I'm so excited for you!!!! If I can help with anything let me know. Your boys are more than welcome to come over at any time! Ok, now I feel guilty about asking you to watch Kirby this morning, hope he was good. =]
Seriously, if mornings are bad I can do the morning car pool so you can sleep in. =]

Thank you for all the well wishes! We are hoping to get a girl - then I won't feel bad about giving away all the boy clothes.

Deborah and Lisa - I would love to look at your blogs. Your family all went private a while ago and I can't "see" you anymore. Hope your morning sickness goes away this time around Deborah!

Tammy - Mornings are amazingly OK. It's evening when all H... breaks loose.

To be more precise i thought I knew, i didnt know know. You are not crazy and with the other kids a little older it will be really nice to take the time to sit and enjoy this baby plus you need new stuff anyway.

I'm with April - you would want new anyway. Everything "baby" is so much cooler now than when we were having babies a few years ago. You are such a great mom. I'm sure the boys are fine. A sick Dixie is still better than a healthy Aimee. You are amazing and I am so happy for you. Now your mini van is justified. :)
