Little black rain cloud

I'm bringing my little black rain cloud to my blog. I told Chris that either the Devil is out to get me, or the Lord has a lesson I haven't learned yet! I've had more bad things happen to me in this year than ever in my life. But, then I talked to my Mom this morning and she thinks I must have a guardian angel watching over me to make it through all this with out any permanent damage. So much of what happens to me is beyond my control. Shingles? Back out yet again! Boys with allergies and asthma. 2 accidents in 3 months? At least I don't have broken ribs this time.

Crazy accident in the construction zone yesterday. SR 201 a.k.a. "the luge." If you live out here you know the one I'm talking about. 2 lanes, all barriers, no shoulders. There were cars stopped in the right lane. I was in the left lane and slowing down when a car comes out of the right lane into the passenger side of my van. The body is a mess. The front door won't open. He hit both wheels and all the panels on that side. I was able to drive it home. We were just bumped around and don't have any injuries thank goodness. I get to start dealing with the insurance tomorrow. Chris is ready to go car shopping - he never likes my vehicles and any excuse is a good one. Steven was excited to talk to a police officer and reminded me that we needed to say a prayer when I finished the paperwork. He said it, and thanked Heavenly Father that we were not hurt.

Not sure what to think of all this. I guess these are my tests for now. Hope a windstorm will blow my black cloud away. I've had enough bad luck for one year.

Sometimes our little trials are not always for us to learn something..it might be for someone else to learn, to service or just support. Hang in there..all you can do is be thankful that your family is intact..and all is well. These are just bumps in the road on a path we call life! Keep your head high...and this will soon pass and will only be but a moment in time!

I've come to think that all this happens to the "nice" people and the ones that are always doing things for others and such. Try being a jerk for a while and see if that helps. Just an idea!!! I like new cars too so I am on Chris's side this time. Those shingle things suck and I hope I never get them (they come from chicken pox right?)
Unfortunately the wind is blowing in black clouds but they are the good stormy thunder lightning ones I hope.
Good luck with your cloud and dont send it south.
