Just a little late blogging about our newest arrival. But if you follow the "Bug Boys" Chris was on the ball and let you know what's going on. Little Ellie Olson was born on October 12 at 4:07 pm. She was much littler than the boys - by almost 2 pounds! She didn't want to come on the most awsome birthday of the year 10/10/10 and waited for her induction date. All the men in our family are wrapped around her teeny tiny finger. I think she is pretty great too. Still pretty sleepy, except for 1-3 am when she feels the need to poop five times.
We couldn't resist the bella baby photos. They are so beautiful compared to the ones we got with the boys. Steven has a big eye goober and Isaac's hair didn't get combed after Chris bathed him. Both make me laugh when I look at them.
The new hospital was nice, but the food wasn't so great. I am not good at making my own choices. Just send up something that goes together and I'll eat it. Chris brought me a piece of godiva chocolate cheesecake in the hospital. Who needs flowers when you haven't had chocolate for 9 months!
I have to brag a bit. I'm back in my normal pants! If there is a silver lining to throw up and heartburn for nine months, this is it. After loosing 3 lbs the last couple weeks, my total weight gain was only 15 lbs. Probably not so healthy.
Chris took a week off to take care of us. He is a great mister mom. It was nice to have him around after having him work overtime all summer. I have a hard time leaving things undone and Chris gets a little mad to hear the washing machine going when he comes home from work. Do I really have to wait 2 weeks to act normal? I guess I could take a nap or watch a movie everyday - but I'm no good at that.

Im with you on keeping busy. I hate to sit. I like her, she is cute and Ella is rather thrilled with her name. I think she might think you named her after her a bit. I let her keep thinking that.
Bragging is allowed if you fit back in your jeans so soon. You deserve it.
She is so beautiful, Dixie! Her little face is so pretty it wouldn't matter who took the picture! She is a keeper! And you do deserve to brag. You are amazing in so many ways.
Thanks for the tomotoes, btw.
She is just so beautiful. I would totally brag if I fit in my jeans, too.
She is so cute. I would totally brag if I could fit in my jeans right after a baby. I would like to brag a year or two after the birth but no dice! I hope you get some sleep.
