Are we having any fun yet?

Look! No life vests in the deep end!
I can't believe that summer is almost over. I have loved having the boys home. It's going to be real quiet around here when school starts. At least until October when we get a new baby. Most of the summer has been blah blah - mom's making us do an hour of homework everyday. That's the price of having a pregnant mom and workaholic dad. But we signed them up for 2 sessions of swimming lessons and the two little fish loved every minute of it. They had teenage boys for their teachers and would do anything they were asked. Steven's freestyle is amazing. He can go the width of the pool and tread water. Isaac had to be rescued twice by teacher Houston. So glad he was there to save my child from the slide and the diving board when Isaac "forgot" he knew how to swim, then caught his leg on the board jumping off backward. I was withing 10 feet both times, but a 17 yo kid is much faster than a preggo mom.
We went downtown to see the big parade with my family.

We also unwinterized the trailer and took the boys fishing a Smith and Moorhouse. We had a great time camping. We never catch any fish. Chris spent most of his time untangling the boys' lines. We cooked some great dutch oven food.

This is half of our tour of Capital Reef with Chris and Jeff at the family reunion. Cute dominoes.

After they woke up we walked to a waterfall.

And posed with Grandpa.

We went to see the petroglyphs, but the boys were more interested in the wood on the trail.

This is at the edge of the Goosenecks. They didn't want to stop throwing rocks over the edge.
I don't have any pictures of the mice in our kitchen. That was great excitement for a week. We aren't all blah blah blah after all. We even have a few pictures to prove it. Bye Bye summer.

With all that camping, swimming and the girls next door. I don't think they thought it was a blah summer. It was all the above except the boys next door and my girls have had a great summer. Thnx for being our neighbors.
